THE PROPOSALS

The proposal is for the demolition of the existing buildings and the redevelopment of the estate to create five standalone buildings, to create between 450-470 new homes with around 50% affordable housing (*by habitable room) .  This project will bring much-needed housing to the local area, with a variety of property types and sizes to accommodate families, multigenerational families, those with accessibility needs and single occupants.

The vision for the new Juniper Crescent neighbourhood is a shared one. Residents have been the cornerstone of the vision and through continuous consultation have helped us to understand what type of place Juniper Crescent should become and what it needs to achieve to be a success. Our shared vision will consider Juniper Crescent as a neighbourhood in its own right, a corner of Camden that is sheltered from the hustle and bustle but has its own distinctive feel. The shared vision presented to you today is about building high-quality modern homes set in a vibrant green neighbourhood with beautiful spaces designed to provide a variety of vibrant spaces for people to socialise and relax.

Delivery of 450-470 new homes
